Boston's Tamandua Brings Prog-Jazz to the World - New CD Now Available!

Tamandua's hard-hitting debut album, Eternal Anteater of the Universe, is now available on Bennett Alliance Records. The CD is available for purchase. The group just performed their much anticipated CD release concert in Boston.

Tamandua is the newest prog-influenced instrumental trio to come out of the Boston scene. Labels are hardly accurate, but the band plays a sort of progressive/avant-garde jazz-rock that is often influenced by various Eastern (Indian, East Asian, and Middle Eastern) ethnic music.

Boston-Based Tamandua Plays Highly Anticipated CD Release on January 23!

There has been quite a bit of buzz surrounding Boston-based instrumental prog rock/jazz fusion group Tamandua. Tamandua is led by drummer Rick Landwehr and guitarist Joe Conley. Rounding out the trio is longtime collaborator Rick Stone on saxophone and clarinet. Tamandua is performing their CD release show for the debut album, “Eternal Anteater of the Universe."
