UCF Flying Horse Big Band

The UCF Flying Horse Big Band is one of the top recording and touring college jazz bands in the United States. Originally known as the UCF Jazz Ensemble 1, the band was renamed in 2013 and has been one of the key artist groups performing on the new Flying Horse Records label of the University.

The student band received credible professional accolades when "Jazz Town," their debut album, hit 43rd on the JazzWeek chart in 2011. Their 2012 release, "The Blues is Alright," topped out at 35th on the JazzWeek chart in March 2013.
