In 2009, He won 2. prize at Thailand Trumpet Competition in Bangkok, Thailand. In 2013, He won 3. prize in Duo category at International Music Competition in Osaka, Tokyo. In September 2017, He won 1. prize with the name of “Win Pongsakorn’s European Quintet” at Žilina International Jazz Competition in Žilina, Slovakia. He got chosen as a representative of the University to join IASJ meeting (International Association of Schools of Jazz) in Siena, Italy.
Currently he is working on various projects of his own quintet to perform and touring around european and Thailand.
Over many years he had opportunities to work and perform with many artists and bands from all over the world such as: Siam Jazz Orchestra, KUG Jazz Orchestra, JMI Jazz world, Jim Rotondi, Alex Sipiagin, Ray Anderson, Sheila Jordan, Randy Brecker, Bobby Shew, Ed Neumeister, Ed Partyka, Steve Davis, Michael Abene.
