Duo Elevation

David Ellington grew up in Connecticut, moved to Boston to attend Berklee College of Music before moving to New Orleans in 1983. After immersing himself in the extraordinary music scene in New Orleans, David moved to Atlanta in 2005 where he shortly met drummer Chris Burroughs.

Drummer/percussionist Chris Burroughs was raised in Rockford, Illinois and began playing at the early age of four. During his teenage years, Chris moved to Atlanta, GA to begin his professional career. Chris has performed throughout the United States, Europe, Japan, and Australia and has shared the stage with artists like Dee Dee Bridgewater, Carmen Bradford, Jennifer Holiday, Russell Gunn, Chris Duarte and more…

Collectively their musical experiences and special artistic chemistry, make for an exciting elevated musical duo, known as Duo Elevation.
