Ebru Dengiz

Ebru Dengiz is an Istanbul based jazz vocalist.

When Ebru is singing, along with the modern and classic jazz pieces, it is quite possible to hear folk, pop, country even indie sounds.

2010: Studied repertoire and improvisation with Elif Caglar, sound and vocal techniques with Randy Esen.

Studied jazz harmony and ear training, jazz history and attended workshops and seminars by prominent musicians like Sheila Jordan, Mark Murphy, Kevin Mahogany, Amy London, Maucha Adnet, Adam Rudolph, John Beasley and Donovan Mixon.

2012 - Performed at 23rd Akbank International Jazz Festival (Istanbul) with her band For Ensemble.

2012 - Featured as vocalist in the song 'Lightyears', at album "Interstallar Alchemy" by Telescope Thieves which published in US.

2013 - Started performing with her project 'Ebru Dengiz Quartet'

2014 - Hosted the live radio show Dünyanın Cazı (World of Jazz) every Wednesday, in Acik Radyo 94.9 - an independent nationa radio channel in Turkey

2015 - Started producing BalconyTV in Istanbul, a global music video session
