Elad Gellert

Elad Gellert was born in Jerusalem, Israel 1985. He started to play the saxophone at the age of 10. After having studied in the Jerusalem Academy Of Music for two years, he then transferred to The New School for Jazz and Contemporary Music, where he graduatied with a Bachelor’s degree in Jazz Performance. He studied with musical jazz legends such as Arnie Lawrence, Jimmy Owns, Reggie workman, Chris Cheek, Vincent Herring, and Ari Hoenig. Elad preformed in events such as The International Red Sea Jazz Festival, The International Israeli Festival in Jerusalem,The Jerusalem White Night's Festival in Israel, and at various New York venues, such asThe Nuyorican Poets Cafe, and The Jazz Standard.
