Elizabeth Tomboulian Elizabeth Tomboulian

With experience as a solo artist and band leader since the Texas Bar days of the 70s, I enjoy recording, arranging, teaching, and facilitating improvisation in the style of Rhiannon and Bobby McFerrin, two of my teachers. My career has taken me to New Orleans, Nashville, San Francisco, Boulder, Denton, Houston, Wisconsin, Montevideo, Japan, and now I'm digging the scene in NYC.

I love project work designing CD covers, books, and other publications, having 20 years experience with Adobe software.

Teaching is becoming more rewarding as I'm now enjoying planting seeds, nurturing them, then detaching from outcomes, which is great when students have a wide range of personal investment in study.

All About Jazz needs your support

All About Jazz & Jazz Near You were built to promote jazz music: both recorded and live events. We rely primarily on venues, festivals and musicians to promote their events through our platform. With club closures, shelter in place and an uncertain future, we've pivoted our platform to collect, promote and broadcast livestream concerts to support our jazz musician friends. This is a significant but neccesary effort that will help musicians now, and in the future. You can help offset the cost of this essential undertaking by making a donation today. In return, we'll deliver an ad-free experience (which includes hiding the bottom right video ad). Thank you.
