Attended seminars of John Taylor, Dave Liebman, Gideon Levensohn, Steve Coleman, Graham Collier, Giorgio Gaslini, the clinics by Berklee School of Boston (UmbriaJazz 1999). Studied in New York with Walt Weiskopf, Joel Fraham, Melissa Aldana. Renato D'Aiello, Tullio Ricci, Carlo Atti, Maurizio Giammarco, Bob Bonisolo, Giulio Visibelli. Master's Degree (cum laude) in Jazz Music at the Conservatory of Music A.Boito (Higher Education in Art and Music - Parma, Ialy) with Roberto Bonati.
He played with and recorded with the Civica Jazz Band of Enrico Intra (guests Eddie Daniels, David Raksin, Dave Liebman, Max Roach, Bobby Watson, David Murray, Evan Parker, Paolo Fresu, Enrico Rava, G.Trovesi, Enrico Pieranunzi, Franco D'Andrea,…).
He has performed at dozens of festivals in Italy, Europe, USA and released over thirty CDs as a performer as several musical genre (hip-hop, jazz-prog, rock, nu-jazz, pop, avantgarde).
He played with Bobby Durham, Paul Jeffrey, Gianni Cazzola, Franco e Stefano Cerri, Steve Grossman, Marco Tamburini, Tommy Campbell, Felice del Gaudio, Hengel Gualdi, Antonio Zambrini, Alberto Tacchini, Roberto Bonati, Max Furian, Rossano Sportiello, Jazz-Art (Massimo Manzi, Christian Mayer, Ellade Bandini, Michael Rosen, Mauro Negri, Fabrizio Bosso), and many others.
He has toured several times in USA and Europe with the Izzy Zaidman's band and trans-atlantic project (US_Paris_Italy) Pericopes+1.
