Grammy® and Latin Grammy® winning producer, composer and arranger, also nominated for a Hollywood Music in Media Award; his recent productions have featured John Patitucci, Airto Moreira, Kenny Aronoff, Arturo O'Farrill, Matt and Gregg Bissonette, Antonio Sánchez, Magos Herrera, Chano Domínguez, Camille Bertault, Christian McBride and Billy Martin (MMW), among many others. ———————————————————————————-

Emilio D. Miler is a producer, composer and arranger.  

In addition to co-producing the Latin Grammy winning album "Los Animales" by Mister G, he was nominated to a Hollywood Music in Media Award for his original soundtrack to the documentary feature "H.O.P.E. Was Here”, produced “Sorte!,” nominated to the 62nd. GRAMMY® Awards in Best latin Jazz Album, and the Grammy® winning Classical Vocal Album “Mythologies” by Danaë Xanthe Vlasse, produced alongside the composer.  Emilio also took part in Björk's  "Biophilia" tour, conducting workshops for children in music, science, and technology.

A Berklee College of Music graduate, Miler composed original music for FOX, National Geographic Channel, Canal á, Turner Argentina, and the entire music branding to the launch of FX Channel Latin America. Emilio’s music was also featured on the hit Argentinean show “Valientes,” and on the Colombian versions of “Valentino, El Argentino,” and “Desperate Housewives.”

For over 20 years, he led the Music Department at CEARTEC (Centro de Arte y Tecnología, a higher education institution in Buenos Aires with majors in Live Sound, Music Engineering and Production, and Acoustic Design), which also published four books by Miler: one in Music Theory and Notation, one in Arranging for Rhythm Section, and two in  Contemporary Harmony.

Miler has been a guest lecturer at Icesi University in Cali, CES University in Medellín, Del Norte University in Barranquilla, Los Andes and Javeriana Universities in Bogotá (Colombia), as well as conducting workshops and other educational activities for musicians and producers at other institutions and events, such as Barranquilla’s International Carnival of the Arts, Studio Ensamble Academy and Búho Negro Studio in Medellín, Árbol Naranja Productions in Bogotá (Colombia), Dante Cultural Center in Mérida (México), Nempla School Of Music, and Romaphonic Studio in Buenos Aires (Argentina).

2017 saw the release of two albums co-produced by Miler: NY-based Italian singer Laura Campisi's "Double Mirror" (featuring Zack Brock, Greg Hutchinson, Ameen Saleem and Vincent Herring, among others), and Mister G's latest "Mundo Verde/Green World” (which featured the song “Gozar,” co-produced and arranged by Miler, and recorded in Santo Domingo with members of Juan Luis Guerra’s legendary band “La 440”).
