Evgeny Pobozhiy is a famous jazz and fusion virtuoso guitarist and composer, one of the leaders of Moscow jazz scene. As a member of numerous projects of Igor Butman including Igor Butman Quintet and Moscow Jazz Orchestra he added a perfect sound of his versatile guitar to dozens of international projects which featured Wynton Marsalis, Herbie Hancock, Manhattan Transfer, Dee Dee Bridgewater and other superstars.

His latest musical videos featuring Federico Malaman, Anton Davidyants and Gergo Borlai became viral on Youtube. Evgeny's main project is his Quintet which consists of the topmost Russian musicians of modern generation. Quintet's repertoire is based on compositions written by Evgeny, and his tunes thrill with a smart combination of jazz, funk, prog, hip hop, world and modern classical music.

All About Jazz needs your support

All About Jazz & Jazz Near You were built to promote jazz music: both recorded and live events. We rely primarily on venues, festivals and musicians to promote their events through our platform. With club closures, shelter in place and an uncertain future, we've pivoted our platform to collect, promote and broadcast livestream concerts to support our jazz musician friends. This is a significant but neccesary effort that will help musicians now, and in the future. You can help offset the cost of this essential undertaking by making a donation today. In return, we'll deliver an ad-free experience (which includes hiding the bottom right video ad). Thank you.
