Filip Dinev

Filip Dinev is a guitarist/composer of Macedonian origin, based in Hamburg, Germany. His unique sound, touch, flow and compositional approach always find great appreciation in the audience’s hearts. “Szvetlo” is the newest album release, featuring French drummer Pierre Martin and Hungarian double-bassist Dani Arday . An atypical international jazz trio, widening the soundscape of the classic guitar trio format, blending jazz, classical, pop and Balkan elements, constantly provoking spontaneity, while always remaining open and organic.

The “Szvetlo” album got recognition on multiple official Spotify editorial playlists, such as “All New Jazz” and “New Music Friday Magyarorság“, followed by radio streams on international European jazz radios like: „Karc FM 105.9“, „90.9 Јаzzy Radio“, „Tide Radio“ and more.”

”Improvisation, the joy of unpredictability and natural limits as a creative starting point - Filip Dinev, together with drummer Dani Arday and bassist Pierre Martin, impressively explains his personal credo on his debut album.” - Jazz Moves Hamburg

All About Jazz needs your support

All About Jazz & Jazz Near You were built to promote jazz music: both recorded albums and live events. We rely primarily on venues, festivals and musicians to promote their events through our platform. With club closures, limited reopenings and an uncertain future, we've pivoted our platform to collect, promote and broadcast livestream concerts to support our jazz musician friends. This is a significant but neccesary step that will help musicians and venues now, and in the future. You can help offset the cost of this essential undertaking by making a donation today. In return, we'll deliver an ad-free experience (which includes hiding the sticky footer ad). Thank you!
