Furuhashi's profile Tsuyoshi Furuhashi is a tenorsax,flute player composer from TokyoJapan.Study under saxophone player TakeruMuraoka, Hidehiko Matsumoto .In 2001 he was selected the winner of the contest of Maizuru Redbrick jazzfestival. From 1998 to now ,getting toknown Tokyo jazz scene gigs at jazzclub. From original tune to 4beat, improvisation avant-garde on his own band has tried to pick up experimentaly ,and he also playing as a support musician on cafe, tv ,stage, hotels like ANDAZ TOKYO,HYATT ROPPONGI, like,jazzfestivals,polititian Kamei Shizuka's song arrangement under songwriter Kohan Kawauchi ,He has collaborated openly with hiphop,collegerock butoh,bossaNova ,reggae,cafe-music artist's gigs and recording,both major and indies

Review: Tenor saxophonist, flutist and composer Tsuyoshi Furuhashi was born in Mitocity, Japan. His background includes study with Takeru Muraoka and winning an award at the Maizuru Redbrick Jazz Festival. Furuhashi’s been featured in Jazzlife Magazine and the newspaper El Diario. This recording, Live In New York, Magenta, was made live at The Stone in New York City on September 12, 2009.
