Gail McArthur

Gail McArthur, saxophonist, is one of a new generation of female instrumentalists emerging in the world of jazz.

An immensely talented saxophonist from Glasgow, Scotland, Gail began playing at age 14. Since then Gail has performed continually, including appearances for the tv broadcasts Channel 4 Television, “Down the Line” and CNN's Berklee Special.

McArthur has performed with a plethora of great musicians including Benny Carter, Gerry Mulligan, Grover Washington, Don Cherry, Jackie McLean, Dirty Dozen Brass Band, Maria Schneider, The Scottish National Jazz Orchestra and Vital Information.
