Georgi Sareski is a composer, arranger and guitarist of contemporary music.

He creates and performs new and fresh music based on sincere emotions. He constantly promotes his music around the world, and collaborates with outstanding musicians from everywhere. Even though his professional career is only a couple of years old, he manages to gain more and more recognition from the ever growing world of contemporary music.

The critics have always given excellent reviews for his albums and performances. They have described his music as emotional, honest, and sublime, filled with sophistication and often with a great sense of humor.

In 2004 he won the Berklee Achievement Scholarship Award, and in 2005 he won the 1st prize IAJE (International Association of Jazz Educators) award for his composition Memories, on the Massachusetts state competition. He also studied guitar with some of today’s most respected and influential educators such as David Tronzo Since 2005 he has released two albums of original music, one with his ensemble (Elflandia, 2005 Chicken Madness), and one with his sextet featuring Francesco Bearzatti (SoHoHo, 2006 Chicken Madness). All About Jazz needs your support

All About Jazz & Jazz Near You were built to promote jazz music: both recorded and live events. We rely primarily on venues, festivals and musicians to promote their events through our platform. With club closures, shelter in place and an uncertain future, we've pivoted our platform to collect, promote and broadcast livestream concerts to support our jazz musician friends. This is a significant but neccesary effort that will help musicians now, and in the future. You can help offset the cost of this essential undertaking by making a donation today. In return, we'll deliver an ad-free experience (which includes hiding the bottom right video ad). Thank you.
