Gary Wagner "Daddy Wags", is a Trumpeter - vocalist now doing a single act in Central- South Florida. Gary has performed with and arranged /transcribed for Jon Hendricks as vocalist and on trumpet- flugel horn. Gary was singing in a six piece vocal group "Sixth Edition" in The Ohio- Michigan area until he relocated to Vero Beach three years ago. Gary has also played in back-up bands for Bob Hope, Helen O'Connell, Tex Beneke, Mitzi Gaynor and was a member of the Toledo Symphony Orchestra's Jazz Quintet. Gary has a masters in music performance in jazz and classical trumpet and Voice.

over twenty five years. He concieved and directed the Award winning "Toledo
Youth Jazz Ensemble" as well as maintaining jazz bands at six high schools and
four junior high schools. The group make ups included big band, small jazz
groups, trios to sextets, and vocal jazz ensembles.
