Since his first gig at age 16, Glyn has performed in Canada, England, Scotland and Wales and throughout Australia. In 1994, Glyn began a 3-year Diploma of Performing Arts in Classical Trombone at the West Australian Academy of Performing Arts (WAAPA). Within the time spent in this course, Glyn was resident pianist at Savannah's Restaurant, Radisson Observation City Hotel. He also toured England, Scotland and Wales with the Kalamunda Youth Swing Band where he played such venues as Ronnie Scott's in Birmingham and festivals such as the Wigan and Glasgow Jazz Festivals. Glyn then went on to complete a Bachelor of Music in Jazz Piano at WAAPA
