The Gnu Trio was formed by three Argentine musicians living in Madrid, Spain at the beginning of 2007. The saxophonist, Marcelo Peralta, and guitarist, Guillermo Bazzola, first met in 1982 and have since collaborated on countless musical projects both in Spain and Argentina. Andrés Litwin, the youngest member, arrived in Madrid at the end of 2006 after living in Holland and studying at the prestigious Amsterdam Conservatory. Gnu Trio’s musical sensibility is innovative--it cannot be pigeonholed--and knows no stylistic boundaries.
