Grace Black
I began singing jazz at the ripe old age of 46 in 2006, taking lessons from a great jazz pianist and vocal coach called George King. A few months after I started lessons I was diagnosed with Breast Cancer and had to give up for 7 months while undergoing treatment. After I got the all clear in May 2007 I decided to change to working part time and pursue a semi professional singing career as well as raising money for Cancer Research UK and I have since done 4 concerts and recorded a cd to benefit the charity. You can hear samples and buy the cd on my websites. www.graceblackmusic.com www.myspace.com/gracesblack
