Greg Camphire has been playing drums for more than 25 years, beginning as a 7-year-old in his Pittsburgh, PA hometown and continuing with a variety of great teachers & self-taught techniques as he moved through Philadelphia, San Francisco and Los Angeles. Since 1991, he has performed with a wide variety of artists on stage and in recording studios, specializing in genres including blues, jazz, rock n’ roll, hip-hop, reggae, drum n’ bass & electronica as well as traditional African music styles.
