Instrument: Vocalist
Born: October 19, 1985

Greg Poppleton caught the jazz bug at age three seeing Louis Armstrong on TV. He's never had any interest in contemporary popular music and is totally uninfluenced by it.

Greg’s passion is jazz and swing from the 1920s and 1930s. His vocal style comes from a lifetime of listening to jazz age and swing era singers from the US, Europe and Australia.

“So that’s the way I naturally sing,” says Greg.

His band, Greg Poppleton and the Bakelite Broadcasters, have reached almost 900,000 total YouTube views for their interpretations of songs from the 1920s and 1930s
