Album Description

This album is not only our 6th common studio recording, it also comes in time with our aniversary „20 years together on the road“! And besides raising our twins Fabian and Valerie we had the pleasure to perform 1500 concerts on four continents and in nearly 50 countries, playing in intimate Jazz clubs as well as on big stages and at international festivals – from Tokyo to Teheran, Kuala Lumpur to Yerevan, Cape Town to Delhi, Shanghai to Almaty, Hong Kong to Cracow, Havana to Moscow, Chicago to Ottawa, Doha to Ankara … And all this wonderful experiences helped us to enrich our musical vocabulary and contributed to the diversity of the compositions. This CD is recorded with the members of our Jazz Quartet and the project Indian Spirit, which is a result of the tour through India in 2011. Enjoy! Michaela & Robert

All About Jazz needs your support

All About Jazz & Jazz Near You were built to promote jazz music: both recorded albums and live events. We rely primarily on venues, festivals and musicians to promote their events through our platform. With club closures, limited reopenings and an uncertain future, we've pivoted our platform to collect, promote and broadcast livestream concerts to support our jazz musician friends. This is a significant but neccesary step that will help musicians and venues now, and in the future. You can help offset the cost of this essential undertaking by making a donation today. In return, we'll deliver an ad-free experience (which includes hiding the sticky footer ad). Thank you!
