Guido Santoni

Jazz pianist Guido Santoni began studying piano of his own volition at the age of 8 with a classical course and then as a private pupil at the G. Rossini Academy of Music in Pesaro, Italy. At the same time he discovered a real predisposition and vocation due to his early acquaintance with the electrical jazz groups dating back to the 70s such as Miles Davis, Weather Report and the european cultured jazz. He has been doing concerts since the 90s playing a broad spectrum of music such as electric jazz, experimental and funk jazz as well as soul music. He has also taken part in a great variety of Italian groups appearing in many jazz exhibitions . This magnificent and long experience has established the necessity of dedicate himself to the project for excellence, that of the Piano Solo. He released the first self-produced work “Cinque Atti Del Tramonto Di Un Giorno” for the label Hijo Records. Recorded Live October 16, 2005 at Teatro delle Muse in Ancona, Italy. In 2009 he founds the Italian Jazz piano trio completed by Danilo Gallo and U.T.Gandhi with which he recorded his international debut-album “Inside A Dream” published in October 2010 by the prestigious jazz label Artesuono Records. Guido Santoni is a phenomenal jazz pianist and composer who exhibits live enjoying a complete liberty, with eyes shut abbandoned completely to the wave of emotions and colours from the deepest intimity and carried away by a sort of a mystic force
