Guille Martinez

Guillermo Martinez : electric bass and upright bass. He studied guitar at seven years old with H. De López. Later he tooks lessons of reading, theory,improvisation, harmony with Eduardo Criscuolo,Bucky Arcella, Maria Luisa de Caro, Noemi L. de Cirigliano and Santiago Giacobbe, took Berklee courses with Joe Santerre. In the first years he participated in rock y jazz bands, freelance gigs. Colaborated with Pedro Pujol (Mandioca, M&M). He founded the jazz bands La Llave y Caja Negra, y participated in sessions with Walter Malosetti, Ricardo Pellican, Sergio Petravich, Enrique Norris, between others. Since 2002 he formed his owns bands in Quartets and Trios. He is been teaching since 1986,in 1994 founded Musical Studio G&M, with Jorge Garcia, he write “El Bajo en el Jazz”.
