In addition to the Yellowjackets, he has worked with, and is working with, many notable artists, including Bruce Hornsby, Rita Coolidge, Gino Vannelli, Kiss, Tommy Bolin, Allan Holdsworth, Marilyn Scott, Chaka Khan, Al Jarreau, Donald Fagen and Anita Baker.
Haslip has released two solo albums, “Arc”and “Red Heat.” Haslip remains active with the Yellowjackets, is part of a combo with Allan Holdsworth, Alan Pasqua, and Chad Wackerman. Other collaborations include Jing Chi (with Robben Ford and Vinnie Colaiuta) and Modereko.
Joe Vannelli is a pop and jazz producer, arranger, composer, programmer, keyboardist and proprietor of Blue Moon Studio in Agoura Hills, CA. In the 1970s and early 1980s Joe, along with his brothers Gino and Ross Vannelli were at the forefront of the rock synthesizer sound of the day. Since then Joe’s studio work has garnered several Grammy Award nominations along with several Juno Award nominations, winning the “Best Production” Juno six times.
Joe’s production credits include works by artists such as REO Speedwagon, Styx, The Fabulous Thunderbirds Gloria Estefan, Al Jarreau, Dr. John, Christopher Cross, Marilyn Scott, Glenn Jones, Brenda Russell, Melissa Manchester, Tom Scott, Marcella Bella, and Armik.
