Album Description

This is the debut release of the Hastings Jazz Collective. Started by musical director, David Janeway, in 2008 this "composer's workshop" features NYC jazz veterans. Their music is on the cutting edge of mainstream and latin/jazz and features five original compositions as well as three standards; Blackbird, How My Heart Sings and Edda.
