Henrique Mota

Graduated in Classical Piano by Fundação das Artes in São Caetano do Sul, Henrique Mota is a pianist, composer and representative of a new generation of pianists from São Paulo, who have been gaining prestige in the instrumental music scene (jazz and fusion), with their versatility, technique accurate and high sensitivity.
He has played with big names in Brazilian popular music such as Filó Machado, Arismar do Espirito Santo, Cuca Teixeira, Daniel D'Alcântara, Edu Ribeiro, etc... He has participated in instrumental jazz/blues projects, music festivals, record recordings/ dvd's among others. He recorded his first authorial contemporary jazz work in 2019, the album "Herança", and in 2020 he recorded his second album "Firmeza", a solo piano album, in addition to producing the book "Introdução ao Jazz" Volume 1, together with the online course. In 2021, he released the album “Temática Brasileira” by Kuarup editora.
In 2023, he releases his new work "Concerto Livre", with a new concept, of having been recorded entirely in improvisation, based on the feeling that guides him about his art. Seeking to impact listeners with his visceral music, Henrique Mota, from the release of the album, brings a contemporary reflection on the impact of sound on the public's senses.
