Corinne Mammana: Yes, No, Next

Read "Yes, No, Next" reviewed by C. Michael Bailey

Vocalist Corinne Mammana follows her 2016 EP Under An August Moon (CD Baby) with her full-length debut, Yes, No, Next. Blending the tried-and-true (Irving Berlin's “Blue Skies" taken straight ahead) with the downright inventive (The Cure's “Lovesong" rendered as a smooth samba), Mammana demonstrates a dense and fearless creative mettle not frequently equalled by her peers. With a voice at once coquettish and confident, Mammana reveals an ability to address any vocal genre, doubtless from her theater experience. Capably supported ...

Mercator Nick Manson, John Patitucci, Ian Froman, Andy Suzuki Manasus Music 2008

Recorded in NYC on St. Patrick's Day, 2008, the improvisational music included within Mercator has little to do with luck, and everything to do with musicality, patience and soulful virtuosity.

Mercator is the result of four journeyman jazz musicians' willingness to allow seven newly penned compositions; never before performed or rehearsed, take them across a broad, emotional, sonic spectrum, without any imposed ...

Bull's Eye! - the newest release from guitarist, Sheryl Bailey. The much-anticipated follow up to her trio's smash debut, The Power of 3!.

Nine new compositions that allow the band to create their unique sound, and develop their special rapport and interaction.
