Iftah Kary

Iftah is an Israeli Jazz pianist living in Tel Aviv.

Growing up in Israel, he started playing the piano at the age of 7, intially trained as a clasical pianist, he shifted his attention to jazz music in his teens. After graduating from Thelma Yellin High School For The Arts, he started his higher studies at the Israeli branch of The New School, and around the same time started performing in jazz clubs and festivals around Israel. 2 years later Kary has moved to New York City to complete his studies at the New School. There he quickly established himself on the scene, performing, recording and touring with some of the foremost musicians in the world. On 2018 Iftah has moved back to Israel where he is based to this day.
A highly in-demand pianist, Iftah has performed internationally in venues & festivals such as The Savannah Jazz Festibal, The Red Sea Jazz Festival, Duc Des Lombards, Smalls Jazz Club, Mezzrow, Fat Cat, Sunset/Sunside, Beit Ha'amudim etc. sharing the stage with luminary musicians such as Billy Kay, George Braith, Ari Roland, Barak Mori, Ofer Landsberg, Ofer Ganor, Danny Rosenfeld, Joe Magnareli, Grant Stewart, Pasquale Grasso, Luigi Grasso, etc.

Iftah has appered on Neil Saidi's album "New York Sessions" (2017)

and Shay Zelman's album "Rhythms and Colors" (2019)
