Emily Denison Emily Denison

Emily Denison is a trumpet player in Toronto's jazz and creative music scenes. She is a recent graduate of the University of Toronto's Faculty of Music, where she earned her Bachelor of Music in Jazz Performance with honours. She can be heard in Toronto and beyond with Ken Aldcroft’s Convergence Ensemble, the Nick Fraser New Quartet, Bellwether4, and in many spontaneous and freelance performances. She recently released a cassette of solo trumpet music, entitled “Kindred” on Hamilton's HAVN label. Emily can be heard on the both of the U of T 12tet's releases, “Rebirth” (2013) and “Trillium Falls” (2016).
