Ingrid Gerstmann

Ingrid Gerstmann made her New York debut in the Spring of 2015 at “Small’s” with the New York Jazz Workshop, and later performed with them again at “Small’s” and “Club Bonafide”. She played her first solo show at “The West End Lounge” with John Austria, Jesse Crawford, Keith Jordan and Tony Mapp in January, 2016.

Gerstmann performs her own arrangements, often collaborating with John Austria, and sings a mixture of jazz standards and songs chosen from all musical genres, often overlooked or forgotten. Gerstmann is from San Francisco, where she studied classical voice, and attended the American Conservatory Theatre’s Professional Actor Training Program.

More recently, she’s been studying at Columbia University, with the New York Jazz Workshop, and with the great Fay Victor. New on the NYC scene, Gerstmann enjoyed a successful acting career on the West Coast before hitting New York, and is thrilled to be out performing again.
