Jason Camelio is a composer, arranger, songwriter, trombonist, guitarist, instructor and program developer. He attended the University of North Florida’s Great American Jazz Studies program and the Boston Conservatory/Berklee College of Music collaborative master’s program in jazz composition. In addition to his current work as the director of global initiatives at Berklee College of Music, he leads his own group, Bending Dogma, and is the cofounder/leader of the Big Bang Evolutionary Big Band (BBEBB) an all-Berklee jazz composers' workshop big band. His original compositions and arrangements have been performed by the BBEBB, the Fenway Brass Art Orchestra (FBAO), Phil Wilson's Rainbow Band, Greg Hopkin's Concert Jazz Orchestra and the Big Band of the National Conservatory of Music - Dominican Republic.
