Mr. Klobnak is a versatile trumpet player that has been performing as an active musician, author, clinician, composer and educator. In 2015, the Jason Klobnak Quintet (JKQ) released their 2nd full-length album (New Chapter). It did extremely well on the JazzWeek charts (Top 75 for 6 weeks), was well reviewed, and made numerous Top 10 lists internationally. Mr. Klobnak also the trumpet and brass instructor at Arapahoe Community College, have released two very well reviewed Jazz improvisation books, do clinics, perform, and keep a steady teaching studio both in- person and on Skype. Mr. Klobnak holds a bachelor degree from Drake University (Des Moines, IA) and a Master’s degree from the University of Denver, Lamont School of Music (Denver, CO)
