Jeffrey Johnson

Jeff Johnson is a native of Edmonton, Alberta, and has been a mainstay in the local music scene, playing acoustic and electric bass. Jeff holds a music degree from the University of Alberta and is a bass instructor for the Music Program at MacEwan College. Modo Trio, of which Jeff is a co-founder, has released 3 albums, the most recent being a collaboration with Jamie Saft (producer and performer with John Zorn and Dave Douglas) and will be released in North America, Europe and Japan by 482 Music on September 19.
