A vocal chameleon, Jessica has performed in jazz, funk, soul, fusion, pop, rock, musical theatre, gospel, Americana, and classical groups. She loves working with musicians from different branches of music. She is a semifinalist in the 2015 American Traditions Competition, in which competitors sing in nine different genres through the course of the competition. In 2012, she presented a recital series in Ohio and West Virginia called Giving Voice, which featured works by living female composers in both classical and jazz genres. She also performed on Mountain Stage in 2013 with The Fields of Gettysburg.
Willing to teach
Jessica runs a large private studio with voice and piano students of
all ages and skill levels in Marietta, Ohio, and teaches voice and
vocal pedagogy at Marietta College. Her students have received
honors such as inclusion on state Solo & Ensemble recitals, 1st
chair in All-State choirs, large music scholarships, and even 1st
place in international voice competitions.
Jessica earned her Level III certification in Somatic Voicework™
The LoVetri Method from the 2009 CCM Institute, and completed
her fifth year of study at the Institute during the summer of 2014
