Artist, singer, and song writer, Jhing is a genre-hopper whose music style borrows from jazz, R&B, pop, and soul. Yet she refuses to be classified simply as a pop singer or anything else as one dimensional. The Philippine born and Hollywood-based beauty who was equally influenced by Sarah Vaughan, Astrud Gilberto, Sade, and Prince as she is by No Doubt, Lauren Hill, Outkast, and Madonna is evoking music that‘s attracting both the young and old alike. A product of her labor and love, Jhing’s smooth R&B and jazz-tingled debut effort, Sushi Money is filled with 17 tracks of her signature harmonies and laid back sound, that she wrote, produced, and performed in collaboration with music industry veteran, Bobby Nunn. Their partnership gave birth to The Chitlin Circuit Entertainment Group or CCEG, an internet-based independent record label that is the force behind her interactive site called Jhing.com. It is uniquely designed and caters to web surfers around the world by encouraging music fans to get involved in everything from picking the album cover to helping with the song selections. By cutting out the middle man, Jhing is quickly becoming a house hold name around the world and gaining support from fans who are embracing their direct connection to their artist of choice.

All About Jazz needs your support

All About Jazz & Jazz Near You were built to promote jazz music: both recorded and live events. We rely primarily on venues, festivals and musicians to promote their events through our platform. With club closures, shelter in place and an uncertain future, we've pivoted our platform to collect, promote and broadcast livestream concerts to support our jazz musician friends. This is a significant but neccesary effort that will help musicians now, and in the future. You can help offset the cost of this essential undertaking by making a donation today. In return, we'll deliver an ad-free experience (which includes hiding the bottom right video ad). Thank you.
