Jimmy Deangelis

DeAngelis began playing American jazz in French clubs, his unique sound allowed him to arrange many famous recordings. His peers credit him for elevating the guitar from a rhythm instrument to a solo instrument.

DeAngelis was influenced by jazz recordings of Eddie Lang and Joe Venuti, Louis Armstrong and Duke Ellington.
