Joe Perkins

Joe Perkins is a London based session guitarist and postgraduate from City University London and the Guildhall School of Music and Drama, BMus(Hons), M.A. Joe performs in many styles, ensembles, solo performances and pit bands for musical theatre; most notably, upstairs at Ronnie Scott’s (residency), The Jazz Café, The Royal Albert Hall Verdi, Birmingham Symphony Hall, Milton Court (Barbican), The Royal Academy of Art, Le Quecumbar (house band) and BBC Radio. Joe is in the process of writing and recording for his own project alongside some of London’s best up-and-coming jazz and session musicians.

Alongside my frequent performances at prestigious venues all over the UK and Europe, I am a professional guitar, bass guitar, and music theory tutor. I have extensive experience of working in the state sector as a peripatetic and classroom teacher. I have been teaching privately for more than 5 years and have also delivered lecture recitals at City University of London.
