Barcelona, 1965. Essentially self-taught guitarist and composer with a professional and artistic activity based on playing his own music and teaching.
He studied musical language and harmony with Josep Baiget (his grandfather), classical guitar with different teachers (Jordi Belza, Mariano Capella, Guillem Pérez- Quer, William Waters, Danielle Kassner), modern music (Joan Munné, Xavi Prats) and flamenco (Manuel Castilla). Exploring by himself he finally developed a personal language that puts special emphasis on improvisation.
Exceeds in originality the common average of our musical scene in general and
particulary in jazz . Music very close to jazz, essentially improvised and seeking to
break limits and barriers.
A debut against the tide. Progressive rock in its less redundant side, led by elusive
guitars and winds.
(El Periódico de Catalunya)
A project of freedom and discipline, a graphic expression of music and
instantaneous composition that is only possible through improvisation, collective
creation and, therefore, ideal to be produced live.
A fantastic listening experience
