He has toured Japan twice: once as a guest musician, and once as the leader of his own trio. He performed and appeared in the art film Nummer Twaalf by Dutch artist Guido Van der Werve, which premiered at Art Basal and MoMa. He has also performed on national television and radio including Sirus XM’s broadcast of gospel artist Kim Burrell’s holiday special at Jazz at Lincoln Center. Josh lives on Manhattan’s Upper West Side and is the proud owner of a rescue hound named Maggie.
