Julie Charnet Julie Charnet

Julie Charnet is a jazz/blues vocalist on the east coast, based out of Philadelphia, PA. Her passion for timeless music can be heard in her soulful slides and animated live performances.

Classics and rare gems from the 1930's, 40's, and beyond, make for a unique repertoire that include “old school” blues favorites, and new interpretations of jazz swing, and popular others. Her expression of the music tells many of life's stories. She will take you back to another time, yet maintain a fresh perspective.

Her performances are usually as a trio, quartet, or big band and frequently allow for special guest musicians. She will guarantee a special time for those in attendance at restaurants, clubs, and other music venues.

All About Jazz & Jazz Near You were built to promote jazz music: both recorded and live events. We rely primarily on venues, festivals and musicians to promote their events through our platform. With club closures, shelter in place and an uncertain future, we've pivoted our platform to collect, promote and broadcast livestream concerts to support our jazz musician friends. This is a significant but neccesary effort that will help musicians now, and in the future. You can help offset the cost of this essential undertaking by making a donation today. In return, we'll deliver an ad-free experience (which includes hiding the bottom right video ad). Thank you.
