Julie Lyon (vocals) Grew up in Central Florida but was born in Milwaukee WI. She has a Bachelor of Arts in Vocal Performance from the University of Central Florida where she studied classical voice under Elizabeth Wrancher. After college Julie performed with many different Top-40, Rock, Blues and Country bands until she met her husband, drummer Tom Cabrera, and confessed her secret desire to be a jazz singer. First inspired by the sounds of Don Lamond and his wife Terry on a CD borrowed from her mother, Julie has taken jazz and made it her own. She's become a regular on the Park Avenue scene in Winter Park and has performs regularly at Club Swank in Orlando, Harvey's Bistro in Lake Mary, Fiddlers Green, The Citrus Club, and other jazz venues around Orlando and beyond. Festival appearances include the Winter Park Art Festival and the Harry P. Leu Gardens Fall Moon Stroll.
