Julious Bass (bio)

Low end is an an absolutely fundamental element in hip-hop, and ironically, there aren't many bass players that present themselves as “hip hop bassists”. The sample / digital dominated culture within the genre usually leave “old school” instrumentalists under the shadows, but this is definitely not the case of Julious Bass, who set out to create a unique sound with his sharp lyrical flow and groovy, funk-inspired slap bass lines - bridging the gaps between his own creativity and the technical skills learned at the London Music School.

As a performer, Julious managed to share the stage with artists the likes of Busta Rhymes, Sean “Puff Daddy” Combs, Jennifer Hudson and Jay Z, just to name a few, while his own music ranges from hip-hop to rock, funk and soul with a kaleidoscopic feel, influenced by the likes of Jimi Hendrix, Victor Wooten, and Drake, among others
