Justin Rock

After six records and with one more on the way for 2015, Justin is quickly becoming one of the bay area's most in demand jazz guitarists. Jazz Weekly describes Rock's sound and writing on his most recent release, "Eye Of Ra", as, "lovely a mix of sounds and grooves as sweet and sour sauce". In addition to performance, Justin has been teaching for over 15 years, and composes for film and t.v. Just off a recent west coast tour with the Madeline Tasquin Trading Company, Justin is an up and coming artist at the beginning of a bright future. Keep an eye out for his trio's (Bastet) upcoming live recording entitled, "Earplugs And Ambien", a collection of original grunge-jazz music, due out in December '15. www.justinrockmusic.com

Guitarist Justin Rock, saxophonist Aaron Wolf and trumpeter Josh D. Reed make a forceful and springy front line that delivers a punchy unison charge on ...
