Kasperi Sarikoski (born 1988) is regarded as one of Finland’s leading trombone players. He has perfomed with several internationally renowned artists, such as Jerry Bergonzi, Dave Liebman and Peter Erskine. Kasperi’s career has also encompassed some of the country’s most prominent musicians, composers and groups, including Henrik Otto Donner, Teppo Mäkynen, the UMO Jazz Orchestra and the Ricky-Tick Big Band. He also composes music and leads his own group Nuance. Having studied both in Helsinki and Paris, Kasperi earned his Master of Music degree from the Sibelius Academy in 2013.
