Kenneth M. Ash
I picked up the horn for real on 1/1/00 and never looked back. I've had complications due to age and physicality along the way but, with from 5 to 12 (sometimes more) hours of woodshedding daily, I've come a long way in a short time. I've got a decent airstream and a respect for all notes, finding that they all have a life of thier own. I've played with The Hoosic Falls Community Band, The Washington County Concert Band, The Marble Valley Swing Band and continue to play with The Cambridge Band. I've jammed with local musicians in local pubs and have jammed numerous times at The Vermont Jazz Center in Brattleboro (and look forward to jamming at Spencertown, NY, though rising gas prices can prove prohibitive)
