Kevin Hart Kevin Hart

Vibraphonist, pianist, and drummer Kevin Hart and his various groups have been performing fresh arrangements of classic, contemporary, Latin, and original jazz at numerous concerts, festivals, and venues throughout Illinois since 1993. Kevin’s Latin Jazz Quintet released “Corazón” in 1996, and his more stylistically eclectic “The Road To Everywhere” was released in 2005.

Hart has performed and recorded with numerous musicians throughout Illinois and Iowa, and has had unique experiences performing with some legendary jazz artists including Dizzy Gillespie, Clark Terry, Rufus Reid, Bob Berg, Ed Thigpen, Louis Bellson, and Jack McDuff. Recordings as a sideman include Bob Washut, David Hoffman, Sam Crain, Brian Wilke, Dave Dreyer, Jane Hartman, Joe Metzka, the Beatniks, Jake Hertzog, and others. Hart is also a music instructor at Knox College, Parkland College, and Illinois State University.
