Klaus Savoldi Bellavitis Klaus Savoldi Bellavitis

“Claudio Savoldi Bellavitis”, orchestrator, jazz pianist, singer entertainer and magician, known as “Klaus” In 1984 has been the first Italian that the Berklee College of Music of Boston, since its foundation, gave a bachelor degree to. He’s spent 7 years in the States, composing Film and Documentary Music for Hollywood and the major Boston Film Industries, directing orchestras and performing around the USA as a Jazz singing pianist. In 1991 he began teaching at the Conservatorio Verdi of Milan obtaining the professorship in Film Composition. Touring in the States in various Jazz festivals and exclusive Venus, in 2001 he recorded in Las Vegas his first album “Jazz For Sale” as a leading singer with Walter Blanton (Frank Sinatra, Celin Dion, James Brown, trumpet player), Gary Queen (Bing Crosby and Pavarotti guitar player), Mike Tracy (saxophonist, jazz educator at the Louisville University). Back to Italy in 2002, he kept on working as a film composer with major Film Production and Tv Companies such as Mediaset, Rai, Titanus Film. In 2000 he concentrated his career to become a skilful pianist, later on as a singer “Crooner” a la Sinatra, than as an entertainer and later on as the only “musician-magician” in the world. Today he proposes magical music illusions and mentalism effects during his unique concert / shows. Also known as the “Italian Burt Bacharach”, as the American composer defined him during a press conference in Milan, the artistic director of Montecarlo Jazz festival (Lu) also defined him as the “most interesting artist in the European scene”.

Bellavitis offers blue-eyed soul for the 21st century, reinvigorating Frank Sinatra-styled vocal jazz with sly wit, a dash of European charm, and enough rambunctious energy to light up a city. Bellavitis is scheduled to release a new album, Change, this month; currently being mastered, the CD further cements his outrageous take on orchestral music with his quite virtuoso pianist skills, orchestra arranger, director and vocal interpreter.

Bellavitis' last album was Jazz for Sale, a collection of humorous and highly entertaining Rat Pack-esque songs that were faithful to its musical roots yet irreverent in their approach

All About Jazz & Jazz Near You were built to promote jazz music: both recorded and live events. We rely primarily on venues, festivals and musicians to promote their events through our platform. With club closures, shelter in place and an uncertain future, we've pivoted our platform to collect, promote and broadcast livestream concerts to support our jazz musician friends. This is a significant but neccesary effort that will help musicians now, and in the future. You can help offset the cost of this essential undertaking by making a donation today. In return, we'll deliver an ad-free experience (which includes hiding the bottom right video ad). Thank you.
