Lauri Kadalipp Lauri Kadalipp

Lauri Kadalipp is a young and talented saxophonist making his way in to Estonian jazz music scene. Born in a music loving family it wasn’t surprising that he continued the family’s biggest passion. He composed his first works while studying at H. Eller Music School where he was recognised for both composing skills and saxophone playing virtuosity. Being on the doorstep of his career as a professional saxophonist, Lauri has already been featured in numerous groups and projects. He is already teaching saxophone in 2 schools, is a player, conductor, band leader at New Wind Jazz Orchestra and also as band leader of a buzzing modern jazz group Lauri Kadalipp Social Jazz. Lauri has worked with many different musicians in Estonia and around the world. He has surrounded himself with the brightest Estonian players he could find with his band. Lauri Kadalipp Social Jazz released their first LP “Feels just right” in early 2018 and in January 2019 a new EP “Live in Põhjala Factory” was released as live music videos and also as digital release at music streaming sites.

All About Jazz needs your support

All About Jazz & Jazz Near You were built to promote jazz music: both recorded and live events. We rely primarily on venues, festivals and musicians to promote their events through our platform. With club closures, shelter in place and an uncertain future, we've pivoted our platform to collect, promote and broadcast livestream concerts to support our jazz musician friends. This is a significant but neccesary effort that will help musicians now, and in the future. You can help offset the cost of this essential undertaking by making a donation today. In return, we'll deliver an ad-free experience (which includes hiding the bottom right video ad). Thank you.
