Leslie began her music career playing Hammond B3 organ and singing backup vocals with Connecticut-based bands. She then evolved into a versatile lead singer covering Country, Rock, R&B and Pop hits. By 1999,she had changed her musical focus to jazz vocals and formed her own band. The Leslie Alexandra Sextet.Working with very talented musicians from mostly the Massachusetts area. Leslie released her 1st CD, “Jazz du Jour” in 2003, and it has received local airplay ever since. She has sung throughout New England and recently performed in Amsterdam and Paris.
