Lili Layton

With a background in classical voice, Lili has been performing various styles of music in the Bay Area as well as in New York City. Her interest in Jazz started several years ago and has been her main focus ever since. Lili’s performances include Bay Area musicians, such as vibraphonist, Herb Gibson; guitarist, Pascal Bokar and drummer, Donald ‘Duck’ Bailey; the Susan Sutton Trio; Ed Kelly; the Jazz Doctors, as well as other great Bay Area musicians. She has opened for Charles Brown and Allan Holdsworth. In November 2008, Lili released her debut CD “Demo Sessions Plus Two”. Lili has previously recorded the vocal tracks for Empty Hand and is now in the process of working on new original tunes that will be recorded in the near future.

All About Jazz needs your support

All About Jazz & Jazz Near You were built to promote jazz music: both recorded and live events. We rely primarily on venues, festivals and musicians to promote their events through our platform. With club closures, shelter in place and an uncertain future, we've pivoted our platform to collect, promote and broadcast livestream concerts to support our jazz musician friends. This is a significant but neccesary effort that will help musicians now, and in the future. You can help offset the cost of this essential undertaking by making a donation today. In return, we'll deliver an ad-free experience (which includes hiding the bottom right video ad). Thank you.
